The Isolair Hover Refill Pump assembly is proven worldwide as part of the highly successful Isolair Firefighting Systems. Designed to give high performance with reliability, the many hundreds of units in the field have proven extremely durable. The high efficiency, enclosed impeller centrifugal pump is powered by a 28 volt direct current permanent magnet motor. Total ampere draw is less than 80 amps in normal use and directly relates to the volume of material moved. The pump inlet is protected by a cast screen to keep debris out of the impeller. The pump assembly is connected to the aircraft with a cam lock and in-flight jettison capability is optional.

The pumps are made in the USA to Isolair's rigid aircraft quality specifications. Designed as direct replacements in Isolair Firefighting Systems, these pumps may also be adapted to other firefighting systems to give improved performance.
